ESPL 2021 Group C Day 4 Round-up: Soul Crew OP, UNC, Sevenshot, and Simraj Army advance to Round 3
Day 4 of the Group C Level 1 round 2 qualifiers of 2021 ESPL ended with a total of 12 teams advancing onto the final round i.e. Round 3 stage. A total of four matches were played in a Bo3 format with each team getting points after every map finish. An overall standing was created and the teams with the highest points advanced to the next round.
ESPL 2021 is India's first franchise-based league presented by India Today Gaming - the gaming and eSports division of India Today Group. ESPL 2021 is a multi-city tournament to be played over a period of three months with over 300 hours of action-packed content for viewers to watch. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 which will be distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals.
The grand finale for ESPL is scheduled for August 29th, 2021, and will comprise 8 teams representing 8 cities across India. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore.
ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group C Round 2
The top teams from the previous stage competed in round 2 of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group C qualifiers. Each team played a total of three maps and earned points after every map finish. An overall points table was created and the top three teams from each match advanced to Round 3.
ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group C Round 2 Match Overview
Soul Crew OP topped the overall standings in the CR2M1 round with a total of 118 points including the 52 kills points. 4K and Asin G Revolution finished at the second and third position respectively in the overall standings.
UNC finished at the number one stop after the completion of CR2M2 three matches. The team secured a total of 98 points in the overall standings. Lack Ace finished at the second spot with a total of 93 points. The CR2M3 was won by Sevenshot with a total of 34 kills and 86 total points.
The last group match of the day was won by Simraj Army. Simraj Army were the table toppers of the CR2M4 round with a total of 127 points and 54 kill points. Titan eSports KL took the second spot with 101 points followed by Team-Mayhem with a total of 81 points.
